P.S. Congratulations... the sky is the limit!!!

Created this for my DD who sat an exam earlier this year and was recently accepted into a selective girls high school - a very proud Mummy moment!!!  We are in the midst of re-decorating her room, and she has decided on a "Vintage French" theme, so my card is a bit more "Vintage" than usual LOL!

Inspired by this weeks Paper Smooches Sparks Designer Drafts (mirror image) and this earlier Paper Smooches Sparks photo inspiration, with the three butterflies as the vertical line.

Cut two sheets of coloured vellum for the Paper Smooches Crystal Clear maison jar.  Stamped and die cut Paper Smooches Flap Happy Butterflies with Butterflies 3 die cuts and stamped and fussy cut the Little Lady butterfly, on MME The Sweetest Thing papers. Love this cloud paper from Callege Press too. Cut the sentiment flag using Paper Smooches Flag Tags stamped with Sentiments Sampler.  I couldn't resist adding this little message inside, from Paper Smooches Sunny Side Up.

A Players Mojo...

As soon as I saw this weeks Mojo Monday Challenge I thought of including playing cards as the background elements for this sketch, but it wasn't until I saw this weeks colours at the Paper Players Challenge that I knew which colours I had to use - this combo of red, teal, soft suede and vanilla would have to be one of my very favourite ever!!

Papers I have use are from MME Out & About.  I have tucked in a tiny sliver of Making Memories ribbon so you can just see the scalloped edge.  Love the My Favourite Things oval die-cut. Senitiment is created using Journalling Hand font.

Hope you come up ACES today too!

So Proud to be a Smoocher...

Fell in love with the Paper Smooches stamps - aren't they just divine!

Discovered they have a fantastic Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge blog too.  This week was a great inspiration challenge from this Pinteresting photo.  I picked out the gorgeous and fresh colours and stripes, mixed with these great FREE digi-download stamps, pop dotted the coloured cardstock background for added interest and tied together with MME coloured twine.   I just love their simple and snazzy designs - makes for simple and snazzy cards in no time.

P.S. Just realised my card could be interpreted as "knot" So Proud - perhaps I should have gone for "bow" So Proud instead LOL!!!!
