Thinking of Ewe...

Second post for the day!

Just realised I had not yet posted this "Thinking of ewe" card here yet - created for the Page Maps 6th Birthday celebrations, based on this cute Page Maps card sketch, and perfect for the Moxie Fab Gingham Challenge too!

I love this little The Alley Ways ei-ei-o sheep, and created the thought bubble from its body.  Sentiment and grass tussocks are The Alley Ways Get Moovin', the die-cut fence is Marianne Design, with papers from Lily Bee and Fancy Pants.

Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate ewe!!!

Three Chairs for You!

Version 2
Original

Loved the chair in this weeks Pinterest Inspiration from Ribbon Carousel - kind of reminded me of Goldilocks house, so I made a "Three Chairs for You!" card today.  Originally based on this gorgeous sketch from Freshly Made, too fresh to make that deadline, but with all that gingham I might just squeak in for the Moxie Fabulous Gingham Challenge!  Papers are from MME Miss Caroline, Echo Park Sweet Day and Basic Grey Shine On... with the cute baby chair stamp from Stampin' Up, and some gorgeous Divine Twine stitched around My Favourite Things doily oval.

Hope you have a delightful day, and don't forget to vote for Gallery Idol!

PS. Did a happy dance when the postie arrived with my Ribbon Carousel goodies - re-did my button bow using October Afternoon 9-5 button and Ribbon Carousel twill :)

Trigger Tuesday Retro Colour Throwdown...

Loved the colours and repetition of design elements in this weeks Man-tastic Trigger Tuesday, and with all those leaf shapes I had to make a heard you're leafing "we'll miss you" card of course!  Loved the vertical design element from this fabulously versatile Retro Sketch too!

Thought it appropriate having a "miss you" card based on negative space, so I created the leaf circles using a Heidi Swapp leaf mask and Tim Holtz Distress Inks Frayed Burlap, Fired Brick and Broken China - as close as I could get to this weeks gorgeous Colour Throwdown Challenge colours.  Sentiment is stamped using the same combination of inks and The Alley Way Jibber Jabber - just had to slightly alter the "well" to "we'll" with a well placed apostrophe (or was that we'll placed!)  Added some leafy texture with Craft Concepts Christmas Vine embossed background, and pop-dotted the leaf circles.

Many thanks for stopping by!  If you didn't I'd miss you ;)

This made me smile :)

Just wanted to send out a big HELLO to the followers of my blog and everyone who stops by and takes the time to comment here - it's MUCH appreciated and really adds to the fun of this creative pursuit - so THANK YOU - YOU ROCK!!!!!!

A little card for this weeks CAS-ual Fridays Put a Bling on it (can't get that tune outta my head, so I had to put a ring on it LOL).  Stamped with The Alley Ways Jibber Jabber and Snow Much Fun and a little bling from Bella.

Creative Scrapping The Alley Way...

Loved the Creative Scrappers sketch this week - so FAB for using up all your scraps!  These gorgeous farm animals, cloud and some of the banners were stamped using a combination of The Alley Way Stamps Get the Point, ei-ei-o and Get Moovin, on papers from Simple Stories Summer Fresh and Basic Grey Shine On. Additional stickers and small alphas are also from Simple Stories Summer Fresh.  Title alphas are from the much missed Scenic Route, and the journalling is hidden on the tab card behind the photo.

Hope you are having a fantastic week & looking forward to the weekend!

It's Plane I {heart} You, The Alley Way...

Second post for the day...

Did a happy dance when my The Alley Ways Stamps arrived today!!!  Inspired by this weeks plane and the country theme at The Play Date Cafe, (love that the writing looks like little lasoos!) Man, It's CAS-ual Friday! and Splitcoast have a CAS "Love Theme" going on at the moment too.  Stamped my gorgeous The Alley Ways Priceless Joy plane on Cosmo Cricket Baby Jane, and created the "I {heart} u" by creating the outline with a ribbon of glue topped by Divine Twine, and added a little blue cloud pop-dotted for added texture.

Hope you have a FAB day!

Doing a HAPPY DANCE :)

Tomorrow's forecast...Less is More at the Play Date Cafe!

This is one of those cards I love the idea of more than I love the finished card, I still love the card - I just love the idea of it more lol!  How cute is the "country theme" in the inspiration photo at The Play Date Cafe this week, I ran with it, creating patchwork clouds from Authentique Glory with a little Lily Bee Designs Double Dutch too.  There may be too many ideas going on here to still make it a CAS card, but it is still shaped for the Less is More Challenge!  This gorgeous sentiment was part of the Flourishes April Showers I was lucky enough to win recently, stamped onto a McGill Fancy Square.

Back with more soon!
