Finnabair @ Dromkeen for Bella Carta

Had another amazing opportunity to play with Finnabair and lots of pretty Prima product, and drive to parts of Australia I had never been to LOL!

This canvas was created with a black gesso background, collage of paper and ephemera, texturised clear soft matt gel, lace, flowers, metal, wood and plastic button embellishments and sentiment, covered in black gesso and highlighted with metallic sprays and metallic paint created using mica and soft matt gel.

Blue Christmas FUSION...

Welcome to a Blue Christmas FUSION

I was running behind this fortnight, and whipped up these Christmas cards using WPlus9 Festive Greetings, stamped in Momento Luxe Bahama Blue. Card number two also features Lil Inkers Stitched Square and Stitched Snowflake dies, together with Ali Edwards Christmas die. I couldn't decide which was my favourite, so I thought I would be cheeky and include both!

As usual, you can play along with FUSION using either this gorgeous photo inspiration, or this fabulously versatile sketch, or a combination of both.

Pop on by the Design Team blogs for some more super FUSION inspiration:

Hope to see you playing along, can't wait to see what you create!

The ART of Possibility...

It has been a bit of a roller coaster this past fortnight, with DDs French Exchange trip postponed and DH starting a whole new career, so it was pure joy I was able to play at the Dina Wakely class by Artified last Friday, and when I arrived home I was inspired to create this journal page, to remind myself of all that is possible.

Created using acrylic paints on a gesso background, in yellow, orange and hot pink using Dina Wakely's circle and leaves stencils to create positive and negative spaces - thanks to the magic of baby wipes! Added highlights with white gel pen, painted the stencil sentiment by Dyan Reavley and highlighted in white gel pen, and added Dina Wakely's scribbly butterfly stamped on patterned paper fussy cut.

Joy to the World... The Christmas Challenge

With all that is happening in the world today, I thought I'd spread a little JOY.

This began as an idea I had for the FUSION challenge this fortnight, but took a turn and ended up here! Based on the FUSION sketch, I created the Lawn Fawn snow bunny's ski run (or more accurately his sled run), and combined with the fabulous kraft, white, red and glittery silver from The Challenge A Christmas Colour Challenge. Falling snow background created using Winnie and Walters mask and modelling paste, and added Ali Edwards Technique Tuesday Christmas sentiment.

PS It's FUSION Time...

Time for another fabulous fortnight of FUSION inspiration!

I have to say this fortnight I was inspired by the super cute stacked pumpkins - reminded me of a mini snowman! So I interpreted the wavy sketch lines as huge snowdrifts and paper pieced my Paper Smooches Freezy Fellas snowman with an extra warm scarf and beanie, topped off with a nine carrot nose (pun intended!). Paper Smooches Christmas Words sentiment is die cut from sparkly gold glitter paper, and golden bokeh snow background paper is from Websters.

As usual, you can play along with FUSION using either this gorgeous photo inspiration, or this fabulously versatile sketch, or a combination of both.

Finnabair @ Artified - All About Textures...

Lucky enough to have the opportunity to play at Artified studio with the amazingly talented (and very funny!) Finnabair yesterday.

This class was all about texture using primarily products from the Prima Finnabair ranges, including a fabulous array of metal flowers, gears, clock pieces, bottletops and buttons, combined with stencils, texture paste, black gesso and some of the amazing new Mica and Mica Magic Powders, a paintbrush, cardboard, lace, and hardware, plus a few bits and pieces from my stash...

Playing along with Mixed Media Monthly Texture
(although I'm not sure if it needs to be a card which would count this out!).
