Cardabilities - Final Sketch...

I so wanted to join in the final Cardabilities Sketch...

This card background went through many incarnations before I decided I liked it LOL! I quickly discovered that too much red Glimmermist ends up looking like the chainsaw masacre, rather than quiet Autumn tones! That's the beauty of a gesso layer - if you don't like it you can remove colour with a baby wipe and start layering again!

Dictionary page base and added modelling paste (to play along with City Crafter Paste It) and a Pink Paislee She Art doily stencil. Covered in gesso, sprayed with a combination of Glimmermists and Dylusions in Autumn hues, highlighted with Gelato rubbed crayon once dry. Gorgeous Winnie and Walter sentiment, Dynamics branch and Clearly Besotted autumn leaves diecuts. Leaves created from watercolour paper oversprayed with orange and yellow Glimmermists. See how it GLOWS in the sun...

Happy Falling for FUSION..

Even though it's warming up in our corner of the world, I still can't resist that gorgeous Autumn (or Fall!) foliage! This fortnight's FUSION inspiration photo is chock full of fabulous colour and texture. From the flowers, fruit and foliage, to the wicker, wood and woven blanket. How will you be inspired!!!

Leaves created using Glimmermist Sprays in golds, reds and oranges, with a Prima Tea Leaves and Primrose, using die cut leaves from Clearly Besotted. Wood veneer "Happy" sentiment from Heidi Swapp. Papers from Echo Park Everyday Eclectic die cut with Lil Inkers Stitched Polaroid frame and Stitched circles, and cardstock embossed with Couture Creations Royalty folder.

Clearly Freshly Made...

I decided last minute (like 16 minutes before cutoff time!) that I needed to make a card for the (soon to be not so) current Clearly Besotted Autumn / Halloween Challenge. Playing along with Freshly Made Sketches, Color Q and Little Red Wagon Fall Themed too. These fabulous papers from Lily Bee Designs matched the Color Q colours perfectly. Die cuts are Clearly Besotted Autumn Flowers and Leafy Accents, with Happy Days sentiment stamped in Momento Luxe Nautical Blue.

CAS(E) this Study...

Playing along with CAS(E) this Sketch, and another fabulous inspiration card from Debby Hughes at CASE Study, together with Catered Crop Good Medicine Recipe Swap.

Created with a kraft base, two super cute die cut feathers from when we went away with Joy (sorry, I can't remember who makes them!), Lil Inkers Stitched Polaroid, Clearly Besotted Fancy Feathers sentiment embossed in Zing White, and Studio Calico Woodgrain Enamel Dots.

 

A CAS(E) of Clearly Crazy for Craft...

Believe it or not, this would have to rank up there with one of the craziest things I've done in the name of craft! No, it's not the fact that I embossed in gold on coloured vellum, but the fact that I actually heat embossed in a house with no air conditioning, when the temperature is predicted to reach 44 degrees Celsius today (that's 111.2 degrees Fahrenheit!).  The past two days have already been over 40 degrees, and tomorrow is predicted to be the same again - so I think I could almost have embossed without my heat gun ;)

Created to play along with the gorgeous sketch created by Leigh over at CAS(E) this Sketch - go check out the FABULOUS gallery and DT samples - Clearly Besotted Love Challenge using these amazing stamps and sentiment from Clearly Besotted, and Simon Says Stamp Emboss It Challenge and paper from Studio Calico.  Folded the vellum by creasing along the feather stem using my thumb nail and then folding upward, and adhered the feather to the card by applying Dimensional Magic along the back of the crease line.

 

A CAS(E) of Peace on Earth...

Clearly Besotted Pretty Poinsettia poinsettia and sentiment and Background Builder music combined to create this simple Christmas greeting.  I love Momento Luxe Olive Grove and Love Letter inks for traditional Christmas stamping.  Playing along with this fortnights fabulous CAS(E) this Sketch, Festive Friday Peace Trigger Challenge, and if I'm not too late, Little Red Wagon Off the Edge.

Joining in the fun at Clearly Besotted Christmas Challenge, and City Crafter Decorate It Wreath Challenge with a combination of Clearly Besotted Signature Christmas Additions wreath, stamped in Momento Luxe Olive Grove, Pretty Poinsettia sentiment stamped in Momento Luxe Love Letter and Signature Christmas Die Collection die-cut bow, together with "j" and "y" from my alphabet stash, patterned paper from Crate Paper Bundled Up, Lil Inkers Stitched Rectangle and a Kaisercraft pearl.
