Inspired by the Bathurst car races on the weekend I was card-making, featuring
Winnie+Walter Merry and SC Christmas dies..

And finally two cards featuring Stacey Yacula's Purple Onion snowman,

A CASE of Rainbows...

This card was going a WHOLE different direction when I started it - but I kinda like where it ended up anyway!  LOVE this card from the CASE Study this week so I borrowed the stripes and the colour combo to create my card, using this gorgeous stamp from Inkadinkadoo.  Thanks for stopping by :)

Of Friends and Snowflakes...

I LOVE that Challenges make you think outside the square - or in this case, inside the square LOL!  I have teamed up this gorgeous colour palette from Colour Throwdown Challenge with this divine sketch from  Sketch Saturday.

I couldn't resist bringing this little Inkadinkado snowman out one more time!  This time I teamed him up with a sentiment from My Favourite Things Flopsy Snowflake.  The background is dry embossed using the Cuttlebug Snowflakes folder, and the white swiss dots hand cut following the Buzz and Bloom wonky scallop border - I love how it looks like snow piled up on the roof :)
I have used Spellbinders Floral Doily Motive behind the snowman.  I had fun testing out my new Christmas present - a circle cutter from Fiskars - makes cutting circles a breeze!

Many thanks for stopping by - much appreciated :)

Thanks Snow Much...

Had fun playing along with the Creative Card Crew Snow Day Challenge, inspired by the snowflakes and colours from the Ribbon Carousel Challenge and this gorgeous sketch from Freshly Made Sketches.

Even though we don't get snow in this part of the world - I couldn't resist this gorgeous snowman from Inkadinkado.  He is stamped with Timber Brown StazOn onto teal Basic Grey paper, coloured in and his hat and scarf are pop dotted on for depth.  The clear snow flake is from Heidi Swapp, and the teal ribbon was just calling to me from my stash!   Background is dry embossed with Cuttlebugs Snowflakes folder then rubbed over the top with Versamark seafoam ink, and heat embossed all over using Dazzle ink and clear embossing powder. Cardstock base is Espresso Bazill.

Thanks SNOW much for stopping by :)

"Count Your Rainbows...

... not your thunderstorms", the perfect sentiment for this card and wise words from a 12 year old!

I could not go past using a rainbow for this weeks gorgeous sketch from Skipping Stones Design. Rainbow is made from strips of cardstock, adhered to white cardstock then pop dotted to create a bit of depth, I stamped each of the rainbow letters by inking them using Steadler thin markers.

I love that when I took the photo you can just make out the reflection of the rainbow colours on the floor - and choosing to ignore the bit of dust LOL!

Hope your year is full of rainbows :)
