FUSION Rain or Shine, You're a Friend of Mine...

Super cute photo inspiration at FUSION this fortnight, paired with this gorgeous sketch! The rectangles from the sketch morphed clouds for my card, inspired by the photo colours and friendship and rainy day themes.

Had fun playing with Mama Elephant stamp sets and die cut, combining the elephant, mouse and sentiment from Ella & Friends, with the umbrella from Up and Away, and stitched stamped cloud from Love from Above, overlapping the stitched cloud die-cut. 

To play along you can take inspiration from either the FUSION sketch or inspiration photo - or combine the two as I have!

FUSION Field of Poppy Dreams...

Welcome to another fabulous fortnight of FUSION inspiration!

This week I broke out my new Unity by Donna Downey poppy stamp, embossed in gloss black over a Twinkling H2O background of Poppy and Egyptian Gold. This gorgeous background paper is by Collections, and the Heidi Swapp wooden Dream was covered in black embossing powder then red glitter embossing powder.

As usual, you can play along with FUSION using either this gorgeous photo inspiration, or this fabulously versatile sketch, or a combination of both.

Floral Fusion... and Friends

Yoohoo! Anyone seen my mojo, I think it has gone on extended vacation LOL!!!

OK, I have said it before, I do have a pathological fear of purple, well, not quite, but it isn't pretty! That said, I do also LOVE this Flourishes sentiment stamp and thought it needed to be front and centre for this fortnights Floral Fusion inspiration photo and sketch! Paired with this super cute handmade organza and pearl flower, skeleton leaves and net ribbon from my stash, together with a very ancient piece of Basic Grey paper.

CAS(E) this Altenew...

Yes YOU! Thank you so much for being part of this journey so far, and I'm really looking forward to getting to know you a little better in 2015! I have a post planned for tomorrow where you will be able to link up your 2014 highlight posts, because I'd love to drop by and say hello in person ;)

As you may decipher from the title of this post, today's card was inspired by the colours, graphic patterns and watercolour butterflies in the Altenew December mood board, combined with the current CAS(E) this Sketch. Created by scribbling two gelato colours (Melon and Peach) onto the Altenew Painted Butterflies solid butterfly stamp then spritzing with water before stamping. A second layer of colour was applied in Momento Luxe Dandelion, before the top outline layer was stamped in Momento Luxe Rich Cocoa. Altenew Super Script sentiment stamped in Momento Luxe Dandelion and overstamped in Momento Luxe Rich Cocoa. The scalloped edge was a scrap from a 12x12 sheet of Sassafraslass paper.

Reverse Confetti SFYTT...

Ever since my Reverse Confetti goodies arrived (Thank you Jen and Stacey!!), I've been wanting to play along with Reverse Confetti Sketch-For-You-To-Try, and finally did - just in the nick of time!

This months sketch was perfect for a flamboyance of Fabulous Flamingos! Created from scrap papers from my stash, stamped in Momento Luxe Toffee Crunch and Rich Cocoa with Reverse Confetti Fabulous Flamingos. I probably should have had a better look at the sketch before I stamped the flamingos legs - but as they say, what makes you different, makes you beautiful!

Coffee Lovers Holiday Blog Hop (Thanks a Latte)...

Mocha Nog Punch

10 parts Kahlúa Mocha

5 parts Absolut Vanilla

20 parts eggnog

Combine ingredients and serve in a punchbowl with a floating ice block.

Hint: Freeze ice with coffee beans for decoration.

Card created using Kaisercraft papers, and this gorgeous Verve sentiment stamped in Rich Cocoa (what else!) on a Mama Elephant cup diecut.
