Easter FUSION

Super cute colourful FUSION inspiration this fortnight. American Crafts papers create a fun background for this paper pieced Reverse Confetti Later Alligator stamp set.

Here's some more inspiration from the fab FUSION team:

The Harbour FUSION

Looking back, I realised it has been just over 5 years since my very first post on the original FUSION design team! How time flies when you are having fun!

Playing with heat embossing and masks to create for FUSION this fortnight. Using the super versatile sketch turned on its side, I heat embossed this Reverse Confetti Shine from Within sentiment in Liquid Platinum Ranger embossing powder. It is amazing how different this embossing looks at night compared to in daylight - almost night and day lol! The light rays were created using Law Fawn white ink and MFT sun ray mask. Added a panel of fussy cut chevron paper to represent the sea and topped with these gorgeous Ocean Lighthouse and Waves die cuts by Memory Box. I die cut the lighthouse from the same wood grained patterned paper used in my last post.

To play along you can take inspiration from either the FUSION sketch or inspiration photo - or combine the two as I have!

Hop on over to the FUSION blog for some more super sized inspiration from our fabulous Design Team...

Hope you can join in the fun this fortnight @ FUSION.

Can't wait to see what you create!

Reverse Confetti and a Lemony Snicket...

I was fortunate enough to have had a play day today and invited some friends to join in the fun, but alas we were Lemony Snicketed and five friends turned into one plus one! On the plus side I now have a (mostly) tidy craft room, and I got a head start on my Christmas card stash!

Here's one of my creations for the day, playing along with Reverse Confetti Sketch for You to Try, featuring papers from Heidi Swapp and Crate Paper, together with some fabulous Reverse Confetti dies and stamps. I used the Tagged Totes Confetti Cuts to create the curved edge and the "Merry" flag. Love the cool Branch Out Confetti Cuts tree, and Bring on the Merry sentiments. Last but not least added some cute pearls.

Fabulous FUSION April Showers...

Back to earth (so to speak) after our fabulous French adventure to this fortnights FUSION inspiration. I may have to create more than just one rainbow inspired card this fortnight. I couldn't resist including this photo I took as we were heading back from an afternoon at the Musee du quai Branly. Walking in the pouring rain when sun suddenly broke through the clouds revealing the brightest rainbow I had ever seen - it was almost as though you could reach out and touch it and you could actually see where it ended - but I wasn't about to excavate the middle of this busy Parisian intersection to look for a pot of gold LOL!

So cute this couple sheltering from the rain under the cover of the rainbow too!

Inspired by the gorgeous FUSION April Showers photo, I combined this with the current Reverse Confetti Sketch for You to Try and created the rainbow circle by stamping Reverse Confetti Color Me Happy "paint splashes" in a rainbow of Momento Luxe and Hero Arts Neon inks, die cut with Lil Inkers Stitched Circles, and stamped with this super appropriate Reverse Confetti Shine From Within sentiment. Silver glitter starts diecut with Lil Inkers Stitched Stars, and cloud background created with Mama Elephant border.

This month we are also lucky enough to be joined by special Guest Designer, Bonnie Sharp so make sure you stop by for some extra fabulous inspiration from Bonnie and the FUSION team!

I would LOVE if you could join in the fun @ FUSION too!

Reverse Confetti SFYTT...

Ever since my Reverse Confetti goodies arrived (Thank you Jen and Stacey!!), I've been wanting to play along with Reverse Confetti Sketch-For-You-To-Try, and finally did - just in the nick of time!

This months sketch was perfect for a flamboyance of Fabulous Flamingos! Created from scrap papers from my stash, stamped in Momento Luxe Toffee Crunch and Rich Cocoa with Reverse Confetti Fabulous Flamingos. I probably should have had a better look at the sketch before I stamped the flamingos legs - but as they say, what makes you different, makes you beautiful!
