A CASE of late for Smooches but great to KIS...
I had pulled out my embossing folder to play in this weeks Paper Smooches Sparks Challenge, and saw this fab inspiration card in CASE Study from Amber. I didn't leave myself enough time to Smooch, but it's perfect to KIS for this fortnights Dry Embossing Challenge LOL! Stamps are from Paper Smooches and die cut alpha is from Memory Box.

A Dashing CASual Catered Valentine...
OK I think I have enough Valentine's cards for to sink a ship - and only one Valentine, so I think my girlfriends won't have to buy cards this year! But I couldn't help myself. I fell in love with these gorgeous red heart paper clips from Kikki K - and they were half price! And the CAS-ual Fridays Love Letters Challenge got me thinking, along with the fab Catered Crop Polka Dot Challenge (you know I can't resist a polka!), and the brand new challenge CAS on Sunday Be Mine Valentine. So I got out my supplies and a timer, just to get in some practice for the next 10 Minute Craft Dash, and managed to create this in 7 minutes and 14 seconds - perfect timing for a Valentine's Card LOL! Die cuts are from My Favourite Thing and Spellbinders, and the polka dot paper was a perfect size from my scrap pile :)

Happy Bird-day...
Loved the folk art style of this weeks Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger Happy Birthday to You, celebrating Cath's Mums special day. Loved the colours, the flowers inside the little birds wing, the wood grained background panel & freestyle letters - I achieved mine by reverse stamping my letters onto the back of the patterned papers using Elsie Flannigan letters for the smaller alphas and Autumn Leaves for the larger letters, then fussy cutting them and filling inside the "a"s with patterned papers. Papers are a mix of Echo Park, October Afternoon and Crate Paper, with this cute chicken stamp from Purple Onion Designs.

Addicted to Freshly Made Pink Elephants...
My friend just gave birth to a little baby girl - originally due on Valentines Day, but deciding to arrive a little early! I thought this was a perfect opportunity to create a baby card with inspiration from The Pink Elephant Hearts Challenge, Addicted to CAS Heart Challenge combined with this versatile Freshly Made Sketch, together with Charisma Cards Pink and Brown Challenge. Papers are a mixture from Crate Paper, die-cut hearts are My Favorite Thing, cute elephant stamp from Paper Smooches and felt heart from Pebbles.
Now I Must Dash... Come & Join Us!!!
I don't know if you've had a go at joining in Paulina's fabulous 10 Minute Craft Dash. It's a FAB idea - getting together all your supplies and starting your stopwatch! I know I was unsure at first as I am usually a VERY slow crafter, but I thought I'd give it a go. It's amazing how much quicker it makes you as a crafter, and it gives you more confidence in your decisions! I enjoyed it so much I thought I'd apply to join her very first DT. I'm so excited to say - I made it!!! Paulina has put together an amazing DT from around the globe.

Dream Big...
I've been having fun with Clean & Simple Card Making 2 On-line classes - though haven't had as much time to play as I would like. Just thought I'd share a quick card here, based on a sketch from Day 1 by Kristina Werner. My version features dry embossed stars, rather than the original masked spraying, so I can play along with this weeks Keep It Simple Dry Embossing and Simon Says Stamp and Show Stars Challenges.
Both sentiments are from My Favourite Things, as is the die cut. Hopefully I'll have more time to play soon ;0
