A CASE of Honouring Ombre...

Playing along with Jennifer Macguire's last week as CASE Study Muse, taking inspiration from the die cut elements, the arrows, hearts and Thank you theme, combined with this fortnights Moxiefab Tuesday Trigger Honouring Ombre.  

The background is created by die cutting a sheet of white cardstock and a vertical strip of watercolour paper (just wider than the chevron vertical strip) using Lil Inker Designs Pieced Chevron die.  The die cut strip of watercolour paper was then painted in the various gradient colours using gelatos, and once dried these sections replaced into the original white cardstock diecuts.  The "thank you" die cuts were created using gelatos on watercolour paper, adhered to a piece of white cardstock for stability before die cutting using Paper Smooches Thanks and Memory Box Lowercase Type.  Similarly the heart was created in watercolour paper before die cutting with Simon Says Stamp Mini Heart.  The chevron die cut sheet was adhered to an extra piece of cardstock for stability before attaching to the card, and the flagtail banner and sentiment pop-dotted in place.
